Investing in new technology
Here at Advance we are always looking for ways in which we can utilise technology to enhance on the service we provide to our customers.
Recently we have begun testing Virtual Reality (VR) technology as an option to view and interact with conveyor systems in the design and planning phase. This gives customers the opportunity to view the system as it would look in their factory, walk around the conveyors and get a detailed look at what they will be getting, long before anything is manufactured.
The benefits of going down the virtual reality route are numerous and benefit both the customer and Advance in ensuring the project is as smooth as possible. By engaging early with operations and maintenance teams in a virtual review of the layout we can ensure there are no potential issues before the manufacturing process begins.
Alongside our continued investment in 3D CAD software and simulation software the addition of VR shows our comittment to continually improve the service we can offer our customers.
