Heavy Duty Press & Scrap Conveyors: Overview

Advance have designed and manufactured heavy duty press conveyor systems for a number of press shops in the UK.

The press conveyor systems were designed to be suitable for a range of press tools, fully automating the process and providing a more efficient way of gathering and sorting pressings.

The extending press conveyors are fully designed and manufactured by Advance, and the design can be altered to suit any application. A site visit by an experienced sales engineer is always reccommended when looking into a bespoke conveyor like this.

Press Conveyor Functions

• the infeed press conveyor is extendable allowing the system to be used with a variety of press machines.
• the outfeed press conveyor can be raised allowing smaller pressings to drop onto a powered roller section.
• the powered roller is bi-directional so could feed the pressings into boxes on either side of the press conveyor.
• for larger pressings the outfeed press conveyor can be lowered to allow the pressings to be fed off the end of the conveyor into larger boxes/crates .

All pneumatic and electrical controls on the press conveyor are contained within and on the control panel, emergency stops fitted at appropriate points.

Advance can offer an extensive spares package and/or a service contract to go with any conveyor or conveyor system.
