Gravity Roller Conveyors: Overview

Advance gravity roller conveyors are a low cost, virtually maintenance free alternative to powered conveyors. Simple to install and adaptable to hundreds of applications.

As the name would suggest gravity conveyors use the force of gravity to move products. There is no power to the conveyor, hence it is a simple and cost effective solution.

Gravity Conveyors are often used in applications such as unloading trucks and containers, in conjunction with powered conveyors and sorters, and in order picking operations where the product is pushed to the next location as required.

Product can either be manually moved along the conveyor (horizontal) or a slight decline can be given to the conveyor to allow the product to move under it's own weight.

90 degree bends and end stops can also be incorporated into gravity conveyor systems.

Advance gravity roller conveyors can be manufactured in stainless steel or powder coated mild steel.

Skatewheel conveyor bends can be incorporated into a gravity roller system and for instances where small products need to be moved plasic roller track can be used minimising gaps and lost product.
